An Indian-American man died earlier this week, days after he was discovered with life-threatening accidents following a battle outdoors a Washington restaurant.

Vivek Taneja, who’s from Virginia, and the suspect had been at two sister Japanese eating places on February 2, a police report stated. He was “was knocked to the ground by the suspect and hit his head on the pavement”, Washington Posted cited a police report as saying.

This comes amid a spate of assaults on and deaths of Indians and Indian-Americans within the US.

Taneja, 41, left the eating places round 2 am and the battle broke out on a close-by road, the police report stated with out describing the character of the dispute. He misplaced consciousness within the assault and when the cops arrived, they discovered him with life threatening accidents and rushed him to a hospital.

He died from the accidents on the hospital on Wednesday, police stated.
