Traveling abroad sounds like a farfetched dream at the moment, and buying luggage might be the last thing you want to do. But maybe you’re moving, taking a road trip, or maybe you know that buying gear off-season (or when there’s a slump in the market) is a smart way to save money. Well, you’re in luck. Luggage company Away has launched its first-ever sale, and it runs through September 15. The discounts go as high as 50 percent off. If you’re looking for more styles, we’ve also added some other good luggage deals from brands like Travelpro and Eagle Creek.

We think it’s important to point out that Away’s co-founder came under hot water last year for cultivating a toxic work environment, but the company is taking steps to change its culture. To learn more about Away’s carry on, check out our review (9/10, WIRED Recommends).

  • Away The Expandable Bigger Carry-On for $147 ($148 off): Away became known for its plastic hardside suitcases, but the brand gave into demand last year and released a softside lineup for people who want the option to expand space (handy if you end up bringing back more souvenirs than you expected). Plus, you can cram softside carry-ons into overhead bins that’d otherwise spit out hardsides.

  • Away The Bigger Carry-On Aluminum Edition in Black and Rose Gold for $346 ($149 off): You may as well order the option with the built-in power bank to recharge your devices—it’s the same price as not ordering it. I spent seven months testing this hardside suitcase this year, and the aluminum quality is top-notch. The silver color option is a bit more at $420 ($75 off), but if gold is your thing you can pick one up for just $247 ($248 off). This is a carry-on sized bag for domestic airlines’ dimensions. If you fly internationally frequently, pick up the slightly smaller aluminum carry-on for $332 ($143 off).

  • Travelpro Platinum Magna 2 Expandable Rollaboard Suiter for $190 ($100 off): This domestic carry-on piece has a built-in suiter that keeps suits, sport coats, jackets, dresses, and button-down shirts from wrinkling up. For carry-ons, I prefer rollaboards with two fixed wheels to spinners with four spinning wheels. At the more manageable size of a carry-on, I’d rather have the greater storage capacity than spinning wheels.

  • Eagle Creek Expanse Wheeled Duffel 100L for $153 ($46 off): If you’re a fan of The Expanse, or you just want a rolling duffel that incorporates the organizational layout of a suitcase, check out this one from Eagle Creek. WIRED Senior Writer Adrienne So loves hers to death.

  • Backcountry All Around 40L Duffel for $70 ($30 off): Looking for a more rugged bag that can still fit in an airline’s overhead bin? Try this 40-liter duffel from retailer Backcountry. There’s a waterproof pocket inside to keep wet gear separate, and there are storable, padded straps so you can wear it as a backpack if you need to free up your hands. It has loops on the outside too so that you can attach extra gear or other bags.
