A GENEROUS grant will help keep Royal Wootton Bassett’s sports facilities in top condition.
Landfill operator Crapper & Sons handed the Sports Association a grant, which went towards getting mowers, sports equipment and other maintenance equipment costing £50,000.
Peter Yeardley, facilities manager of the association, said: “Once again our thanks go to Richard Crapper and his company for their generous grant.
“For a voluntary run body like ours, it is so important to have the support of community-minded companies, such as Crapper & Sons, otherwise we simply would not be able to sustain these much needed community facilities.”
The equipment purchased helps the voluntary run RWBSA deliver on its mission to engage the community through providing top sports and social facilities.
