KATHUA, Aug 24:  The 51st Divisional Sports competition under-14 and under-17 boys’ category was organized at Kendriya Vidyalaya, here today.
In this two-day event, the 11 teams of Kho-Kho of KV Jyotipuram, KV 1 Akhnoor, KV Miran Sahib, KV Lakhanpur, KV Damana, KV Samba, KV Jodhpur, KV 1 Udhampur and KV Humhama participated.
The program was inaugurated by the Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya Kathua, Gurnam Singh by doing Saraswati Puja and lighting the lamp.
The sports competition was started with the release of Tricolour balloons. After that the first match of the competition concluded between KV Samba and KV Miran Sahib. Similarly all the teams who came here to participate in the competition competed against each other and finally the team of KV Jodhpur Under-14 and KV Miran Sahib Under-17 emerged as winners.
