The action hots up on BT Sport this weekend, with plenty to watch for armchair sports fans who are still unable to return to stadiums.

From three Premier League matches, UFC’s Fight Night 178 through to what is sure to be an unforgettable weekend of European rugby, there is plenty to keep you glued to the TV.

Saturday 19 September

Your Premier League weekend kicks off on BT Sport with an intriguing match-up between Everton and West Brom at Goodison Park. Coverage begins at 11.30am on BT Sport 1 HD, BT Sport Ultimate and online, with an hour of build-up before kick off on Merseyside.

Champions Cup rugby returns later in the afternoon with the match the world has been waiting for between Leinster and Saracens at the Aviva Stadium. The quarter-final clash is a repeat of last season’s final which saw the English side claim a come-from-behind victory in a thrilling match at Newcastle’s St. James’ Park. Our Premier League double-header concludes with Leeds United’s first taste of Premier League action at Elland Road in 16 years. Marcelo Bielsa’s side, who were so impressive against Liverpool on the opening day, host fellow newly-promoted side Fulham. The return of the Bundesliga continues on Saturday evening when Borussia Dortmund welcome Borussia Mönchengladbach to The Westfalenstadion for a blockbuster meeting between two of the league’s top four from last season. Can either side challenge for Bayern’s crown this season? Watch their first game of the new campaign from 5.15pm on BT Sport 1 HD, BT Sport Ultimate and online.

European rugby takes centre stage once again when Clermont Auvergne meet Racing 92 in an all-French Champions Cup quarter-final at 5.15pm on BT Sport 3 HD and online and Toulon host Scarlets in the last eight of the Challenge Cup, with all the action live on BT Sport 3 HD and online from 8.15pm.

We go stateside late on Saturday evening when Colby Covington and Tyron Woodley go head-to-head in the main event of UFC Fight Night 178. Both fighters are looking to get back to winning ways, with Covington losing his last bout to Kamaru Usman and Woodley losing back-to-back fights against Usman and Gilbert Burns. Our third Premier League offering of the weekend comes from St. Mary’s when Southampton play host to Tottenham. Both sides endured disappointing opening day defeats and will be looking to get their season back on track on Sunday afternoon. The number of live European rugby matches on BT Sport this weekend

Gallagher Premiership strugglers Leicester Tigers meet Castres Olympique on Sunday afternoon from 2.45pm in the Challenge Cup, hoping a win over local rivals Northampton Saints last weekend will stand them in good stead ahead of the visit of the Top 14 side. And the rugby action doesn’t stop there! In the fourth and final Champions Cup last four clash, Exeter Chiefs host injury-stricken Northampton Saints in an unmissable all-English tie. The Chiefs will be hoping to buck the trend, starting with a win over Northampton from 5.15pm on BT Sport 3 HD, BT Sport Ultimate and online.
