A day before presentation of crucial forensic probe report by AIIMS team, sheer negligence on the part of Mumbai police and Cooper hospital medical board, which conducted the autopsy, has come to light. According to reports, Sushant Singh Rajput’s viscera sample was not preserved properly. It must be noted that the forensic team in Mumbai had already used 75 per cent of the viscera for testing. As per reports, the remaining viscera was not preserved properly and the remaining quantity was very less and it also degenerated due to ‘improper preservation’.
