ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Kaden Falls (football)
Falls made a big play for the CM defense when he plucked the ball out of the air for an interception and to keep the CM lead. The ball-hawking safety has made an impact on both defense and special teams this year for the Wildcat defense. Falls and Co. will be tested in the team’s next game as they face a high-powered offensive attack in Jersey Shore.

TEAM OF THE WEEK
Football (2-0)
Central Mountain’s football team has yet to allow a point in the first half of games throughout its first to games of the 2020 season. A defense that is allowing just 4.5 points per game, has completely shut down opposing team’s offenses. The defense is anchored by Anton Stratts and Cyrus McCarl up front on the defensive line, the pair has been getting after opposing team’s quarterbacks and stopping the run.
Behind Stratts and McCarl is linebacker Micah Walizer, who has been great as both a pass-rusher and run-stopper for the Wildcats. Its leader in the secondary is Falls.
