Melbourne United is excited to announce the opening of the Melbourne College of Sports Careers.

The first of its kind in basketball, the Melbourne College of Sports Careers (MCSC) will deliver educational programs designed to develop the knowledge and skills of students in order to assist their journey into the sports industry.

The first program to be delivered by the MCSC is the Melbourne United Sport & Business Program. A one-year, dual Diploma in Sport and Business, powered by SEDA Group, the leader in applied learning in the sport industry.

The program shall provide year 12 graduates with an exclusive opportunity to study in a practical, applied learning environment and gain hands-on experience in the sports industry, working alongside our club, Melbourne United.

Students will connect and learn from Melbourne United’s very own industry experts, coaches and elite athletes, and the program will develop student’s skills and knowledge across a variety of areas including sponsorship, project and event management, talent identification, and social media and marketing.

The skills and knowledge developed within the program will allow students to gain meaningful insights into a range of roles and careers within the elite sports industry.

Melbourne United CEO Vince Crivelli welcomed the unique opportunities that the MCSC shall provide students.
