Pacer Avesh Khan dismissed MI skipper Rohit Sharma for just seven runs while Axar Patel got rid of Quinton de Kock, Suryakumar Yadav and Saurabh Tiwary to give DC big breakthroughs. Earlier, MI made one change, as they brought in Jayant Yadav in place of Rahul Chahar while DC brought back Prithvi Shaw in place of Lalit Yadav. DC lost their last encounter against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by three wickets and will aim to regain their winning touch. MI, on the other hand, have endured a tough second phase of IPL 2021 in UAE with Rohit often found wanting with his selection dilemmas in crunch fixtures.
