NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Duquesne at Massachusetts game on Sunday, Feb. 13 will be televised by CBS Sports Network as part of the A-10 Women’s Basketball television package, which the league announced Wednesday.
The official tip-off time for the contest will be announced at a later date.
The Dukes have a record of 37-25 all-time in televised games. The meeting with the Minutewomen on CBS Sports Network will be the first televised Duquesne game since a 79-76 victory over VCU on Feb. 2, 2020. The Dukes have won five of the last six televised games they have played in.
Every Atlantic 10 team will make at least one television appearance. There will be 32 appearances across 16 games on the three conference media partners, ESPN, CBS Sports Network and NBCUniversal.
As previously announced, the 2022 A-10 Championship will be held March 2-6, 2022 with all 14 teams participating in a single-site format. The first round, second round and quarterfinal games will be available live on ESPN+, the Walt Disney Company’s industry-leading sports streaming service. The semifinals will air on CBS Sports Network. ESPNU will air the A-10 championship final, marking the 25th straight year an ESPN network has televised the league’s title game.
Last fall, the Atlantic 10 extended its long-standing agreements with all three media partners. This will mark the ninth year of the continuing agreements with ESPN, CBS Sports and NBC Sports. Atlantic 10 institutions reside in states that comprise 33.3 million television households, approximately 30 percent of the total national media market. There are nine A-10 institutions in or adjacent to the top 25 media markets in the country.
Additional regional and local television coverage will be announced at a later date. All games not picked up as part of the A-10 television package will be streamed on ESPN+ through the Atlantic 10’s agreement with ESPN.
