Hyderabad: The 1 EME Centre, Secunderabad will conduct an open rally for induction of raw and proven players as sports cadets into Boys Sports Company (BSC) scheduled from December 6 to 11 in volleyball, rowing, kayaking and canoeing disciplines. The Boys Sports Company, 1 EME Centre is a joint venture between Sports Authority of India and Indian Army with an objective to select and groom potential talent in select sports disciplines to improve and achieve our medal prospects in future International sports competitions.

Educational qualification for the candidates is minimum class 3rd pass with adequate knowledge of English and Hindi. Candidates of age 08 to 14 years (Born after 06 Dec 2007 and before 06 Dec 2013) can apply for this All India Open selection. Medical fitness will be ascertained by the medical officer of Army Sports Institute and specialist of Army Sports Medicine Centre. Applicants will deposit a certificate of Medal in Sub Junior/ Junior National, Inter School State Level Championship and should have secured first/second position in Volleyball, Rowing, Kayaking and Canoeing. Applicants should not have any type of permanent Tattoo on any part of the body. Candidates will have to submit COVID-19 test reports as on 05 Dec 2021. Eligible candidates should report at Milkha Singh Stadium, 1 Training Battalion, 1 EME Centre, Secunderabad by 07.00 AM (0700 hrs) on 06 to 11 December 2021.

Selected candidates will be provided academic training from class IV to X Standard in English medium in Boys Sports Company, 1 EME Centre besides intensive coaching in all disciplines will also be provided by Sports Authority of India (SAI) coaches/Army coaches.
