New York-based indie prodco Magilla Entertainment has signed an exclusive overall deal with veteran unscripted producer Chris Deaux and his label, Two Fifteen West Entertainment.

Under the deal, Magilla and Deaux (pictured) will coproduce several unscripted series and specials, with projects already underway with Peacock, AMC, BET and HGTV, among others.

Among Two Fifteen West’s recent projects are the docuseries Prisoner of Love, which premiered on Discovery+ this past August, as well as crime and investigation series Finding Andrea, produced with Jupiter Entertainment and also for the streamer.

Deaux has more than two decades of unscripted experience, beginning with TLC’s Trading Spaces and including unscripted formats, docuseries and premium docs. His credits include The Strongest Man in History for the History Channel, Atlanta Plastic and The Rap Game for Lifetime, Rods N’ Wheels and Hogs Gone Wild for Discovery and Married with Secrets for ID.

“Chris has been a top producer in unscripted for some time and is always a tremendous partner and collaborator,” said Magilla co-founder Matthew Ostrom in a release. “Together, we’ve already fast-tracked a number of projects, each with a distinct voice in spaces from lifestyle to docuseries. Chris’s brand and producing style is a great complement to Magilla, and we’re excited to bring our shows to the marketplace.”
