DeMiero Jazz Festival: One FanJazzTic Event! is an online auction with performances to support the Edmonds-based DeMiero Jazz Festival. The auction is scheduled for Nov. 6-13, with jazz performances by Kim Nazarian, the New York Voices, the Dominic Nye Trio and Olympic High School Jazz Choir from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 13. Local band to perform at TEDx event: Snohomish County’s Marshall Law Band will perform at “TEDxSeattle 2021: Where We Are,” a virtual event set for Nov. 22 in which nine speakers will talk about making positive changes in 2022. The event is free; register at tedxseattle.com. Known for its social activism, the Marshall Law Band performed live at Black Lives Matter protests in Seattle in summer 2020. Its album, “12th & Pine,” was written at the CHOP (Capitol Hill Organized Protest).
