Naveen Patnaik, the chief minister of Odisha, has been following and supporting the Odisha Juggernauts during their Ultimate Kho Kho League games.

Tusharkanti Behera, the state’s minister for youth services and sports, met the high-flying Odisha Juggernauts squad on Friday in Pune and urged them to set high goals.

With 15 points from 6 games and a four-game winning streak, the Juggernauts are in first place.

“I am pleased to see that the Odisha Juggernauts are currently leading the points standings. Five of our six games have been victories. I’m sure our squad will make it to the championship game.

Odisha has become a center for sports thanks to Hon. CM Shri Naveen Patnaik’s vision of “Sports for Youth; Youth for Future,” the minister claimed.

“For all of us, meeting the state’s sports minister was an honor. He traveled all the way from Odisha despite having a busy schedule just to visit us in Pune. He wished us luck in the next matches and urged each of us to work hard. We will work tirelessly to fulfill his wish that we lift the trophy, said Jagannatha.

On Saturday, the Odisha Juggernauts will play the Mumbai Khiladis in their upcoming match. A victory would guarantee their place in the postseason.

Tomorrow night, two more games in the Ultimate Kho Kho League will take place (August 27). The Rajasthan Warriors and the Chennai Quick Guns will square off in the first game of the evening. The only squad without a victory thus far in the competition is Rajasthan.

The Mumbai Khiladis will play the second-placed Odisha Juggernauts in the second game. The Ultimate Kho Kho 2022 is expecting a thrilling day tomorrow.
