Warren Buffet, one of the richest people in the world, turned 92 recently (on August 30, 2022). As per Forbes, he stands on number five and has a net worth of over a hundred billion dollars. Today, he owns a dozen of companies and all the wealth is drawn from all his successful investment. Besides his business acumen, the American businessman is also known for his simple lifestyle. Reportedly, he bought a five-bedroom house in 1958 (at Omaha in the USA) and has been living there ever since. Moreover, several articles say, expenditure on his lifestyle is minimal too. But what takes us all by surprise is his unique food habits. As per his interviews and written documents, the billionaire investor thrives on junk food. Yes, you heard that right!
Unlike most others, who adapt a healthy lifestyle after a certain time of life, Warren Buffett continues eating colas, burgers and fries. In fact, during a 2016 interview (with the Fortune magazine), he said that he a “one-quarter” Coca-Cola. “If I eat 2700 calories a day, a quarter of that is Coca-Cola.” He further added that every day, he consumes almost five servings of cola (approx. 350ml). As per a CNBC report, it is also believed that the flavours of diet coke and cherry coke were the driving force for him to invest in Coca-Cola companies.

The tale of Warren Buffet’s junk food diet doesn’t end here. Warren Buffet’s breakfast includes a hamburger from McDonald’s. So much so that he was given a gold card to access free burgers at his hometown in Omaha.
That’s not all. Warren Buffet hates eating healthy food, including leafy vegetables, fruits and more. Explaining the same, Buffett once told the Fortune Magazine, “I checked the actuarial tables, and the lowest death rate is among six-year-olds. So, I decided to eat like a six-year-old,” Buffett said, adding, “It’s the safest course I can take.”
While this diet pattern of Warren Buffet has left some people in shock, some feel he “got lucky” with his genes (when it comes to diet).
