For those of you who may not be aware, Sriya, the talented girl from Odisha started her journey in the field of K-pop back in 2020. During the period of lockdown, she started auditioning for several K-pop groups before being shortlisted for a training camp in Seoul.

She was chosen among the 4000 applicants through the YouTube audition Programme and went through a rigorous training period much like all K-pop trainees. She is known to have been practising necessary skills like standard vocal, rap and dance. The intense training process also included musical instruments, personal training and language training.

Hailing from India, it is not surprising that Sriya has a few Indian personalities in her ‘following’ list, but it indeed is notable that she only follows two specific Indian actresses out of all. Yep, that’s right!

While she may not be an actress, but Sriya also follows the current Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu, adding her to the list of three desi females that seem to be on the young idol’s radar.
