The singer, rapper and actor Aaron Carter has died at age 34, his consultant confirmed to NPR.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department mentioned on Saturday that police had been investigating the suspicious demise at Carter’s residence in Lancaster, Calif.

Carter’s fiancée, Melanie Martin, requested for privateness because the household grieves.

“We are still in the process of accepting this unfortunate reality,” Martin mentioned in a press release Saturday. “Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.”

Carter had his first hit when he was simply 9 years previous, a canopy of The Jets’ Eighties hit “Crush on You.”
