NOVA Entertainment has unveiled Nova 919’s new breakfast present, to launch in January 2023.

The announcement:

NOVA Entertainment introduced widespread broadcaster Jodie Oddy and sports activities journalist Andrew Hayes as Nova 919’s new breakfast present. Jodie & Hayesy will launch in January 2023.

One of Adelaide’s most skilled and cherished radio announcers, most not too long ago Jodie Oddy has been heard as host of The Jodie Oddy Show on Nova 919. Oddy spent 13 years as host of the #1 FM breakfast present on Mix and has been a contract presenter and journalist for Network 10 for over 20 years. In August 2021 she joined the Nova Network, making her return to radio as host of Nova 919’s Saturday breakfast present and has been a daily Friday contributor to the Ben & Liam breakfast present.

Andrew Hayes, four-time SANFL Central Districts premiership participant, has made the seamless transition from footballer to media character. Hayes has made a reputation for
himself as a sports activities reporter for Channel Seven information and reporter for the SA Weekender way of life present. Most not too long ago Hayes has co-hosted SEN’s breakfast present alongside Kane Cornes, since December 2018.

Whilst Ben, Liam & Belle have not too long ago been introduced as Nova 100’s new breakfast present in Melbourne, the trio have endeared themselves to audiences over the previous couple of years and can retain an area present in Adelaide. Ben, Liam & Belle will kick of listeners’ mornings from 6am handing over to Jodie & Hayesy at 7am.

Ben Latimer, head of programming for the Nova Network mentioned, “Jodie and Hayesy are two much-loved and high-profile South Australian personalities, and we can’t wait to bring them to Nova 919’s breakfast show. Jodie, an exceptional broadcaster, and Hayesy, an accomplished sports reporter and announcer, know what is important to Adelaideans so will deliver a live and local show, with lots of listener interaction, every morning. The combination of Ben, Liam & Belle followed by Jodie & Hayesy will be a morning listen with a real difference for audiences in 2023.”

Jodie Oddy mentioned, “I’ve loved being part of the Nova family for the last two years, so to step into the breakfast hot seat is an absolute dream, and I couldn’t ask for a better partner in crime than Hayesy. Ben, Liam & Belle have become a staple listen in Adelaide, so we hope their wonderful audience will take us to their hearts and Nova 919 continues to have South Australia’s go-to breakfast show.”

No stranger to NOVA Entertainment, Hayes began his radio profession as a Casanova on Nova 919’s avenue workforce and was a roving reporter for Nova 919’s Lewis & Lowe. Hayesy mentioned, “I loved my time at Nova and have always been so grateful to the station for kicking off my radio career. I’m beyond excited to return where it all began and team up with Jodie. She’s an absolute professional and someone that I’ve always admired so I can’t want to get stuck in and hang out with Adelaide over their morning coffee.”

Ben, Liam & Belle early breakfast present might be heard from 6am-7am adopted by Jodie & Hayesy from 7am-9am on Nova 919 and on the Nova Player from January 2023.
