A Saudi Air Force F-15S fighter jet crashed on account of a technical malfunction throughout a routine coaching mission on Sunday, state information company SPA cited the Ministry of Defence spokesman as saying.

The crew, consisting of two officers, was safely ejected and there have been no accidents or losses on the bottom.

A committee is investigating the accident, the assertion added.
