NEW DELHI, Jan 3 (Reuters) – The Indian authorities and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on Tuesday signed mortgage agreements totalling $1.22 billion for creating infrastructure in varied Indian states, an announcement from the finance ministry mentioned.
The agreements would cowl initiatives for bettering the ability sector and highways within the northeastern states of Tripura and Assam, metro rail connectivity within the southern metropolis of Chennai, and enchancment of key financial areas within the western state of Maharashtra, the assertion added.
