India has requested state-owned banks to concentrate on their stress testing strategies after they have been discovered to have fallen behind on growing fashions that should push back dangers of failure.

The matter was reviewed at a March 25 assembly of the financial institution leaders with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who met to debate progress of a reform agenda for the lenders, in line with officers conversant in the matter.
