Born March 22, 2006, in Lewistown, he was the son of Jason M. and Lori A. (Diven) Bonson.

He was preceded in death by a cousin, Rodney “Hammer” Henry Jr.

In addition to his parents, Danon is survived by: paternal grandparents, Mike Bonson and wife, Grace, of Lewistown, and Tina Auman and husband, Troy, of McClure, and their families; paternal great-grandfather, Marlin Bonson, of Reedsville, and his family; maternal grandfather, Ron Diven and wife, Deb, of Yeagertown, and their family; maternal grandmother, Shirley Brown, of Lewistown, and her family; and his sister, Erika Bonson, of McVeytown.

He was a freshman at Mifflin County Junior High School.

Danon was a very active teenage boy. He enjoyed sports, hunting and fishing. He especially loved his dogs and spending time with his best friend, Derek Taylor.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at Church of Christ, 301 South Pine Street, Lewistown.

A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Charles Brown officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Danon’s memory may be made to the Mifflin County Junior Babe Ruth League, c/o William Corbin, 79 Trella Street, Belleville, PA 17004.
