MATTHEWS, N.C. — The city of Matthews, in partnership with the India Association of Charlotte, hosted its annual Regional Festival of India on Saturday in Stumptown Park.

The occasion featured, which ran from midday to six p.m. had dance performances, Indian road meals, a market with jewellery and souvenirs, sari draping, turban tying, henna tattoos, immersive cultural experiences, a visible artwork gallery, and an interactive nook for teenagers.
