The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed a petition difficult the inauguration of the brand new Parliament constructing by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as an alternative of President Droupadi Murmu.

The Public Interest Litigation was filed by C R Jaya Sukin, who cited Article 79 of the Constitution, which says that there shall be a Parliament for the Union which shall encompass the President and two Houses to be recognized respectively because the Council of States and the House of the People.
