Aoora was launched to disco king Bappi da’s songs solely a few months in the past after a pal shared them with him. “I instantly liked its (Jimmy Jimmy Aaja Aaja) disco beats and thought it would be interesting to mix it with K-pop,” he says, including that he’s proud of the reception that ‘Jimmy Jimmy’ has been getting. The two minute and 7 second music launched on May 25 obtained 5.9 lakh views on his official YouTube account and 11.5 lakh views on music label Saregama’s official YouTube channel.

“I am happy that I could do justice in recreating his legendary songs,” says Aoora, including that he loves Bappi da’s ‘Jimmy Jimmy’, ‘Auva Auva’ and ‘Disco Dancer’. When requested if he’s going to recreate the titular music of the movie, he says it’s a secret. “I am here for a 10-song deal with Saregama, we will be releasing one song every month and you will have to keep checking my Instagram to know more,” he provides with a chuckle.

Aoora, who has been in India since April, is scheduled to return house this month after a live performance in Mumbai on June 17. But he has his eyes on much more collaborations. “Content is king,” he factors out, including that he enjoys not solely Hindi songs but in addition Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu songs. “I also love (rapper) King’s ‘Maan Meri Jaan’ and Tony Kakkar is also one of my favourites,” he notes, including that he can’t wait to do extra collaborations with artists throughout the nation.
