Fire was reported on the safety check-in space of the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose airport in Kolkata tonight. Visuals present a piece within the check-in space in flames, with airport authorities evacuating individuals. 

Firefighting operations to douse the flames had been present process, as seen within the visuals from the airport. Visuals from the airport confirmed crimson hue flames and plumes of smoke erupting from the portal

At least three hearth engines rushed to the spot and the state of affairs is underneath management, officers stated. 

The Kolkata airport stated the fireplace on the check-in space has been totally extinguished and the all of the passengers have been safely evacuated.

There was a minor hearth & smoke on the verify in space portal D at 2112 pm. and totally extinguished by 2140 pm.
All passengers are evacuated safely and verify in course of suspended as a consequence of presence of smoke within the verify in space.
