New Delhi , Jul 22 (UNI) Congress General Secretary incharge for Uttar Pradesh Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday hit out at the UP government over the death of journalist Vikram Joshi who passed away on Wednesday after being reportedly shot as he objected eve-teasing with his niece.

Ms Vadra said that lawlessness(jungleraj) has gone up to such an extent in the state that people remain scared of the goons even after registering complaints against them.

Sharpening her attack on the BJP government in the state, she further said that the current dispensation too has failed over the law and order , crime control in the state like the previous governments.
