ROXBURY – From artwork to music to neighborhood and tradition over the weekend, Open Streets Boston introduced in people from all around the metropolis to Roxbury.

Open Streets Boston is a car-free occasion collection stuffed with leisure and data. More than 150 neighborhood nonprofit companions and distributors took half within the occasion, together with Black Girls and Black Men Run, specializing in well being and wellness.

Whether its financial support with the business training side, so they come in and work hours. Trying to find housing, getting access to food,” mentioned More Than Words founder Stefanie Allen. 

“Come together in and of community, for community, collective economics, putting money and resources into other businesses that look like me,” mentioned Bryant.
