An aged girl is being evacuated by rescue workers from a flood affected space in Bahawalnagar of Punjab province on August 26, 2023. Several hundred villages and 1000’s of acres of cropland within the central province had been inundated when the Sutlej river burst its banks on August 20, 2023, inflicting round 100,000 individuals have been evacuated from flooded villages in Pakistan’s Punjab province, emergency companies stated. The Punjab catastrophe administration company has warned that forecasted monsoon rains might exacerbate the flooding within the coming days.
