Solo artists exhibiting
MARGARETVILLE — Two solo exhibits opened Friday, Oct. 20, at Longyear Gallery at 785 Main St. in Margaretville.
According to a media launch, “From Santorini to Riverside Park” by Marcia Clark and “A Retrospective of Prints and Works on Paper” by RK Mills, will be part of a members group present by way of Nov. 19.
A reception will mark the opening from 3 to five p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21.
Longview Gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and vacation Mondays.

Gallery present opening
ONEONTA — “Start From Zero,” a collection of work and drawings by Yolanda Sharpe, will open Tuesday, Oct. 24, in Martin-Mullen Art Gallery in SUNY Oneonta’s Fine Arts Center.
A reception will mark the opening from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26. The present will stay on view by way of Dec. 16.
Sharpe, a professor of portray and drawing at SUNY Oneonta, calls herself a mid-career up to date artist.
Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday by way of Saturday whereas courses are in session and by appointment.

FLEISCHMANNS — An artist speak will likely be offered by Christie Scheele at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at 1053 Gallery at 1053 Main St. in Fleischmanns.
According to a media launch, moderated by Hovey Brock, the 2 artists will talk about Scheele’s present, “Atlas/Watershed” which incorporates an set up by Brock titled, “A Piece of the West Branch,” and the environmental points that impressed it.

Organists to present recital
SCHENEVUS — A fall organ recital with space organists Sidney Chase and John Jorgeson will likely be offered at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, on the Church of the Holy Spirit at 4 Arch St. in Schenevus
