FORT LAUDERDALE — Princess Cruises on Wednesday revealed the reveals that might be featured on the brand new Sun Princess, the road’s first Sphere-class ship coming in February.

Entertainment might be carried out in three venues: The Dome, the Piazza and the Princess Arena.

The Dome, a glass-enclosed venue atop the ship, will characteristic three reveals from Cirque Eloize: “Come Fly Away,” “Blue” and “Artbeat.” Princess stated the area may have a South Beach vibe.

At Travel Weekly’s CruiseWorld present right here on Wednesday, Princess president John Padgett described “Come Fly Away” because the “intersection of Rat Pack music with Cirque du Soleil.”

The Princess Arena might be dwelling to a few new reveals and a reimagined one.

“Vallora, A Pirate Quest” was created, directed and choreographed by Danny Teeson, who beforehand created “Rock Opera” for the Sky Princess and Enchanted Princess. Vallora has an ’80s soundtrack, together with the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams,” Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger,” Chicago’s “You’re the Inspiration” and Starship’s “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.” The present follows the heroine Vallora by means of a pirate journey, telling a narrative of looking for what’s misplaced and, above all else, household and love.

“Viva La Musica” options Latin hits like Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine’s “Rhythm Is Gonna Get You,” Camila Cabello’s “Havana,” Santana’s model of “Oye Como Va” and Pete Rodriguez’s “I Like It Like That.” The present is from Liz Imperio, who has choreographed live performance excursions for Jennifer Lopez, Madonna and Gloria Estefan.

Danny Teeson’s “Fiera!” might be reimagined on the Sun Princess. The present tells the story of affection blossoming at a turn-of-the-last-century European fairground and contains a medley of songs reminiscent of Guns & Roses’ “Sweet Child o’ Mine” and Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.”

The Sun Princess’ atrium — Princess calls this area on all its ships the Piazza — will double as a theater. The area is surrounded by a multi-tiered sphere of glass and can host musical acts, sport reveals and Princess’ famed Champagne Waterfall, which the road says might be “elevated.” Princess referred to as it an “exciting evolution.”

The Sun Princess’ maiden cruise might be a 10-day voyage between Barcelona and Rome scheduled to depart on Feb. 8. The 4,300-passenger ship will sail Caribbean cruises from Fort Lauderdale during the winter 2024-25 season.
