Delhi is experiencing excessive chilly waves.

Winter trip in Delhi faculties has been prolonged until January 10 because of chilly climate situations, officers of the Directorate of Education mentioned on Saturday.

The trip was scheduled to finish on Saturday and courses have been to renew Monday.

Delhi is experiencing excessive chilly waves and the India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert because of dense fog, mild rainfall and drop in temperature for the subsequent few days.

“Due to severe cold weather conditions, all government and private schools in Delhi will remain closed till January 10 (Wednesday). Accordingly, all the heads of schools of Delhi are hereby directed to disseminate this information among all the stakeholders,” in accordance with a press release from the Directorate of Education.
