Eddie Wu is without doubt one of the almost 500 followers who’ve travelled all the way in which from Hong Kong to cheer on their staff on the Asian Cup.

“We are in the Asian Cup after 55 years so wanted to make sure our team is well supported in the stands,” Wu tells Al Jazeera.

“The Asian Cup means a lot to people back home – we came here at the beginning of the tournament and will stay for as long as our team needs us, hopefully all the way to the final!”
