Stimulating Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) sectors inside SIDS is essential to drive a transformative shift of their technological growth and is essential in reaching their general sustainable growth goals. The technological developments are important for equipping SIDS with the required instruments to handle the challenges posed by local weather change in sectors like tourism and agriculture-fishery. Despite worldwide efforts lately to mobilize monetary assets and facilitate sustainable know-how transfers in SIDS, there was an general decline in such initiatives.
