It provides the body with protein for strength as well as nutrients to help recovery. Easy to digest, it is the ideal meal if you are unwell. This is a tip, probably all of us know but I have to emphasize the benefits of having this. Rice is easy to digest and provides much-needed energy when sick. The chilka moong dal is a protein but with goodness of fibre too. Haldi is an anti-inflammatory, and anti-bacterial. Salt is needed to help replenish body salts, especially if one has the loosies. Ghee creates a protective layer on the tender stomach lining to reduce the corrosive effect of stomach acids.”
