Tickets go on sale for the performer, as well as single tickets for other upcoming shows, at 10 a.m. Friday.

While Van Wezel Performing Art Hall currently remains closed for performances due to the pandemic, it continues to announce upcoming shows, including one by a smooth jazz superstar.

Saxophonist Kenny G is scheduled to visit the Sarasota venue on March 31, 2021. Tickets cost $37-$82 and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

Kenny G has been nominated for 17 Grammys, winning one, and scored a diamond record with his 1992 album “Breathless.” He joins other national performers who have upcoming shows at Van Wezel including Jay Leno, Bruce Hornsby and the Temptations and Four Tops.

Van Wezel also announced single tickets will go on sale 10 a.m Friday for other upcoming shows by the Blue Man Group (Apr. 12-13), Riverdance 25th Anniversary (Apr. 23-25) and “Fiddler on the Roof” (Apr. 27-29).
