In Shelbyville, the Raiders of North Shelby finished (9-3) on the prep grid-iron last season in Missouri. Earlier today the hard work for the Raiders began as ts they team opened their Fall Camp on Monday at 6:00 a.m. After the workout session came to a close, Coach Bass was quite pleased with what he saw from the Raiders.

In Shelbina, the Cardinals of South Shelby High were also on the prep gridiron this morning. First year head coach Adam Gunterman had his squad working on the turf at 7:30 a.m. with a goal in mind. Monroe City head coach David Kirby didn’t let today’s showers spoil the excitement surrounding the first “official” practice session of Fall Camp. The Panthers took working out in the rain all in stride as they remain focused on mentally and physically preparing themselves for the challenges ahead. We’ll have the story from Monroe County.

In the Hawkeye State, the Bloodhounds of Fort Madison and the Hawks of Central Lee were also set to start their Fall Camp the right way on Monday. In Donnellson, the players from CLHS were chased inside their high school building due to the rain, but for the Hounds of FMHS, they clearly caught a break and were able to hit the gridiron as scheduled at 6:00 p.m.
