Real-time software company Vection Technologies (ASX: VR1) has entered into an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partnership with integrated hardware solutions firm JMC Group to introduce its product suite to Dell Technologies global sales program.

JMC is a global provider of high-level computing and integrated technology solutions and is an end-to-end Dell Platinum and OEM partner to the industrial market.

It has an established tier one client portfolio including US auto insurance company Geico, online sports bookmaker Eurobet, and Italian betting and gambling companies Goldbet, Novomatic and Snaitech within the energy, telecommunications, manufacturing, automotive, railway, retail and broadcasting sectors.

Virtual reality solutions

The partnership with Vection will see JMC introduce Vection’s real-time software suite to Dell Software and Peripherals’ global sales program focusing on virtual reality and extended reality solutions.

Vection said the integration between hardware and software for virtual reality and extended reality technologies is key to a business’ digital journey towards the fourth industrial revolution known as Industry 4.0, characterised by the ongoing automation of traditional manufacturing and industrial processes.

Teaming with JMC will allow it to deliver unique end-to-end solutions for transversal industry application supported by Dell’s global sales footprint.

The partners will also collaborate on marketing activities relating to Vection’s software product suite including virtual reality platform FrameS, real-time 3D platform Mindesk and augmented reality software solution Trainer Creator throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Critical service

Vection managing director Gianmarco Biagi said the JMC-Dell deal would provide a much-needed service to enterprise digital transformations.

“Through this partnership, we seek to play a critical role bringing together disruptive hardware and software technology supported by Dell’s global distribution footprint,” he said.

“We are looking forward to the implementation of our combined solutions to the wider market.”

While the financial impact of the JMC agreement has not been disclosed, Mr Biagi said the direct revenue is expected to be material for Vection.

The JMC partnership adds to Vection’s list of OEM and distribution agreements with companies including Logitech, Hewlett-Packard, Intel and Volvo.
