Linda was born on March 9, 1949, the firstborn daughter to Troy and Eileen Gittings Pratt.

She grew up in Weirton, WV, and graduated from Weir High School in 1967. After graduation, Linda worked in the office at the Weirton Daily Times for 20 years. She was currently employed, for the last 30 years, with Family Connections as an administrative assistant. She loved helping others.

Linda enjoyed traveling with her family especially to the beach. She liked all Pittsburgh sport’s teams, but she loved her Pittsburgh Steelers. Her favorite no doubt was number 32, Franco Harris.

Even though Linda bled black and gold, nothing was more important to her than her family as she was affectionately known as “Aunt Linny” to all her nieces, nephews and friends. She cherished the times attending their sporting events often being their loudest fan in the stands cheering them on.

Most of all Linda will be remembered as a hardworking loving and caring mother.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Linda will be remembered with love and admiration by her son, Joey Pratt; her sister, Mary Lou (Ricky) Robinson; her nieces and nephews, Amy Jo (Matt) Burdick, Travis (Jessie) Robinson, and Kyle Robinson; her great-niece and nephew, Haylie Jo and Luke Burdick; and her fur baby, Lavender.

Friends and family paid their respects on Sunday, at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, and her funeral was held at 11 a.m. today.

She was laid to rest by her parents at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.
