BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Fitness clothing company Under Armour has released its first sport hijab for Muslim athletes.
The Baltimore-based company said the sport hijab is designed with sweat-wicking capabilities, breathability and fast drying time. It was made with the help of Hijabi athletes from across the world, the company said in a news release.
It also has built-in headphone access and a reflective logo.
The hijab sells for $35.
Competitor Nike unveiled a sport hijab in late 2017.
