(WBNG) — In his daily press briefing, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced guidance on the high school fall sports season will be released next week.

The season is currently set to begin September 21. Organized team practices are still not allowed in New York.

New York State Public High School Executive Director Dr. Robert Zayas has been waiting for further guidance from the state.
