Justin Eugene Stringer, 32, Altoona, formerly of Tyrone, died Wednesday at Tyrone Regional Hospital, after a brief illness.
He was born in Tyrone, son of Donald E. Jr. and Tonya (Corle) Stringer. On Sept. 14, 2019, he married Danielle Riley.
Surviving are his parents; his wife, Danielle Stringer; his children: Adyson Grace (3), Jaxon Ray (2) and Waylon David (1); a stepson, Sage Riley Emerson (7); his maternal grandmother, Carol L. Stringer; a sister, Elizabeth Marie Stringer; uncles and aunts: Richard Stringer (Ashley), Tim Stringer (Debra), Georganna Sikora (Ben), Gale Corle and Deb Showalter; and many cousins who loved him.
He was preceded in death by two uncles: Ray Stringer and Bill Stringer; his aunt, Carrie Stringer; and maternal grandmother, Shirley Corle.
He was a member of the Neptune Fire Company and the Bald Eagle Fire Company. He also was a member of the Central District Volunteer Fireman’s Association.
Justin loved being with his kids and going to the lake, fishing or swimming. He drove truck for many years for different companies in the area, mostly recently working for New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. He recently found a passion for starting a catering business, Fat Bellies Catering, which was just starting to take off when his life was cut short.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020, at Neptune Fire Company, Tyrone, for a time of remembrance and friendship. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be held at Franklinville Cemetery.
