In his own words:
This summer I took a class in Astronautical engineering. After graduation, I would love an opportunity to play in the NFL if that door is open. In the Air Force, I will hope to work in missiles. If I have learned anything from the pandemic, it’s to always wear a mask.
 
2019 – Played and started in eight games … missed the last five games due to injury … recorded 36 total tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks … had a tackle for loss in four games … five tackles, all unassisted, at Hawaii … three tackles, a tackle for loss and QB hurry vs. Fresno State … season-high nine tackles at Navy … four tackles, a pass breakup and a QB hurry vs. SJSU … eight tackles, career-high 3.0 tackles for loss and a sack at Boise State … also had a career-best seven solo stops … five tackles and a sack at Colorado … two tackles, a tackle for loss of six yards and a fumble recovery vs. Colgate … leads all active Falcons in TFLs (16.5) and is second in sacks (6.5).
2018 – Played in nine games, starting seven … missed three games due to injury … recorded 21 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks … two tackles and a tackle for loss at Wyoming … season-high seven tackles, a tackle for loss and a forced fumble at Utah State … one tackle, a tackle for loss and his first-career touchdown on a five-yard blocked punt return vs. Florida Atlantic … five tackles and a sack vs. Stony Brook.
2017 – Played in 11 games, starting seven … recorded 47 total tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks and an interception … eight tackles and a season-best 2.0 tackles for loss vs. Utah State … four tackles and a tackle for loss vs. Boise State … nine tackles and two sacks vs. Wyoming … eight tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss vs. Army … led the team with nine tackles vs. Nevada … two tackles and his first-career interception vs. UNLV … started for the first time of his career in the San Diego State game … first freshman to start on defense since Alex Hansen in 2012.
High School – Lettered in football … Tri-City Herald all-area player of the year in 2015 … mid-Columbia conference player of the year … three-time all-MCC … played defensive end and running back as a senior, averaging 8.2 yards per carry and scoring 12 rushing touchdowns.
Personal – Parents are Jarrell Wills and Jaime Thompson … majoring in management … completed survival training and two classes (chemistry and math) during summer academics in the summer of 2018 … completed Operations Air Force and was part of the cadet cadre for Basic Cadet Training in the summer of 2019.
