The Pinatar Arena sports complex said on Monday that the Sports Club gym for members would be temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for Covid-19.

As explained in the centre’s social networks:

Today we have been informed that a member of our Sportclub staff has tested positive for COVID. The said worker is in good condition like the rest of his colleagues, who to this day have no symptoms.

By our own volition, we have decided to take the disinfection measures to the extreme and provisionally close the facilities to our partners, pending the results of the PCR tests of the rest of the workers.

We consider that this is the best decision that we can make due to responsibility towards our clients and workers.

We hope to announce our reopening soon.

Pinatar Arena facilities dedicated to soccer teams are still open and being used normally. Efesé has trained this Monday and the rest of the teams that use these facilities will be able to do so as before.

The management of the center will communicate the date of the reopening once it is decided that the situation does not entail any risk for clients or workers.
