By this time in an ordinary year, movie-goers would be winding down from a season packed with blockbuster movies on the big screen, having escaped the real world for a couple hours a week while seated comfortably inside an air-conditioned theater.

As we’re all aware, 2020 was far from ordinary, and most if us got our summer movie fix from inside our homes. From Netflix premieres to $30 Disney tickets, there was a lot to choose from, but was any of it on par with what we would’ve seen at the local multiplex?
