An open day in The Netherlands showcased how linerless labels, not like standard labels, eradicate the necessity for a liner or backing paper.
ABG stated this know-how, along with the absence of a backing substrate, gives as much as 40% extra labels in linerless label rolls.
The linerless coating know-how permits label producers and printers with enhanced flexibility in label manufacturing, enabling the creation of distinctive labels for numerous industries.
ABG buyer Gabriela Neves Ferri, head of world R&D and sustainability at All4Labels, stated: “Sustainability is a key market driver. With linerless technology, we can leverage further developments that will help reduce emissions. We see the solution being beneficial across the whole supply chain.”
