Actor Jonathan Majors was arrested and charged with assault, strangulation and harassment on Saturday, police stated.

Police stated they responded to a name to an house in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood late Saturday morning over a home dispute between a 33-year-old male and a 30-year-old feminine. The girl informed police she was assaulted.

“Officers placed the 33-year-old male into custody without incident. The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was removed to an area hospital in stable condition,” a New York City Police Department spokesperson stated in a press release to NPR.

Carrie Gordon, a consultant for Majors, informed NPR: “He has done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.”

Majors has been gaining plenty of consideration this yr, with elements in three films to date in 2023: Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Creed III and Magazine Dreams.
