The announcement of the title was made per week after it was first revealed that the 2 actors have joined palms for a movie. On the event, the makers of the film dropped a poster and a primary glimpse teaser showcasing its “gritty and intense world”.

Dacoit is billed as a gripping story of two former lovers, who should unite to commit a collection of robberies to vary their lives. It marks the function directorial debut of Shaneil Deo. The movie is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang and offered by Annapurna Studios. It is being shot concurrently in Hindi and Telugu.

Adivi Sesh mentioned Dacoit is a movie that would depart a long-lasting influence on the viewers and heaped reward on Shaneil Deo, with whom he has penned the movie’s story and screenplay.

That sort of an elegant eye coupled with a very rustic nature of the script and the characters set in the hinterlands of silent India, its villages and towns make for an explosive, angry combustion that is this film. I think Dacoit is going to explode in people’s hearts,” Adivi mentioned in a press release.

The movie marks Adivi Sesh’s second straight Hindi movie after his 2022 acclaimed Major.

Calling Dacoit “a rare story”, Shruti Haasan mentioned, “The story is filled with anger, passion and elegance. I’m truly excited to be a part of Dacoit.”

Shaneil Deo after having served because the Director of Photography for a number of Telugu blockbusters together with Kshanam and Goodachari, which have been headlined by Adivi Sesh, mentioned Dacoit is an intense motion drama “with a beating heart”.
