Elijah Taylor’s manager has confirmed the AFL and the Sydney Swans are aware of what the club describes as “very serious” allegations made against the young forward, which involve the woman he broke COVID-19 hub protocols to see.
The Swans on Saturday night confirmed they are aware of the allegations made against Taylor on social media, which comes after the 19-year-old’s suspension for breaching hub protocols.
Taylor’s manager, Tom Seccull from Hemisphere Management, on Sunday provided a statement to foxfooty.com.au following the woman’s claims, which are disturbing in nature.

The Swans’ statement on Saturday night read, “The Sydney Swans are aware of allegations made on social media regarding first year player Elijah Taylor.”
“The allegations are very serious and are being treated as such,” it continued.
“The club has notified the AFL and is not in a position to comment further at this time.”
It’s understood Taylor and the woman are no longer in a relationship.
Taylor last month suspended for the rest of the AFL season by the league, with the Swans copping a $50,000 fine, half of which was suspended.
“Elijah, the club and AFL are all aware of the allegations, however given the seriousness and sensitivity for those involved, we’re not in a position to comment further at this stage.”
The 19-year-old has remained in Perth to spend time with family while his teammates are in Cairns. His ex-partner is also in Perth.
Drafted by the Swans with Pick 36 in the 2019 national draft Taylor has booted one goal from four games in his AFL stint to date.
