A special celebratory tea party was held at Northwood House last month to mark over 30 years of entertainment by Caught Red-Handed Productions.
Started in 1990 by Simon Dabell and friends, Caught Red-Handed Productions created unique murder mystery weekends and evenings where guests enjoyed trying to work out whodunnit.
Using a wide range of local Island acting talent, the entertainments allow hotel and restaurant customers to play the role of private detective and quiz the suspects, after discovering a murder.
Though laced with humour, these Wight Murder investigations are designed to stretch ‘ze leetle brain cells’ and evidence can include a range of evidence from the scene of the crime, a pathologist report as well as any amount of red herrings.
Over the past 30 years, this theatre group have performed well over 300 entertainments and Simon has created over 60 murder mystery plots for guests to enjoy.
54 guests attended the special celebration on 17th October, including many local actors.
Caught Red-Handed continue to provide murder mystery entertainments for a wide range of commercial and community venues.
